Noerena Limón is a Policy Analyst at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in the Office of Mortgage Markets. Throughout her 5 years at the CFPB, Noerena has worked in the Office of Director Rich Cordray, the Office of Mortgage Markets and the Office of Liquidity Lending. Her work in the Office of Mortgage Markets focuses around both mortgage originations and servicing. Noerena worked on regulatory implementation efforts for the Know Before You Owe Integrated Disclosure Rule. She is currently Mortgage Market’s point person on issues regarding PACE, manufactured housing, language access and Contract for Deed. Furthermore, Noerena was the lead on the CFPB’s eClosing initiative that concluded in a 4 month eClosing pilot.
Prior to her work at the Bureau, Noerena worked in the Office of Political Affairs at the White House, focusing on the Southern and Western United States, she served as Deputy Communications Director for Spanish Language Media in the Obama-Biden 2008 presidential campaign, and worked as a Legislative Fellow in the Office of U.S. Representative Xavier Becerra. Noerena received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and received a Master in Public Policy with an emphasis in Economic Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
