Michael Innis-Thompson serves as the Managing Director of Community Lending at MUFG Union Bank, N.A. In this role, he is responsible for directing the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Multi-Cultural lending strategy for the bank’s Consumer Lending division, and leading engagement of strategic relationships with trade groups and other key industry organizations. Previously, he served as Chief Compliance Officer for the division.
Prior to joining Union Bank, Innis-Thompson spent four years with Bank of America where he held leadership roles as Business Development Executive, and Fair Lending Executive for Home Loans. Prior to Bank of America, he spent six years with Freddie Mac where he served as Senior Director Expanding Markets; Director Affordable Lending Sales; and Product Marketing Director. Innis-Thompson’s earlier experience includes Vice President, Fair Lending Risk Management at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Vice President, Regulatory Compliance for Mellon Mortgage Company.
Innis-Thompson currently serves as Chairman of the Community HousingWorks Board of Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
