Bringing vast experience in leadership training and much more, Alice Martin has much to share with current and aspiring leaders. She is a former REALTOR®, executive staff at local, state and national REALTOR® organizations, and volunteer in multiple arenas. In her role with NAR, she worked with state and local REALTOR® associations on leadership training, strategic planning, and much more. She also led the NAR Association Leadership Development staff on all AE and leadership programs.
Alice began working as an independent consultant with Martin Consulting Solutions in mid-2011 to continue leadership training, strategic planning, team-building and other facilitation and consulting services for REALTOR® associations and individuals across the country. She is also a certified trainer for NAR’s REALTOR® Leadership Program (RLP) and was instrumental in its U.S. development in collaboration with the Ontario Real Estate Association. Alice is also an approved NAR strategic planning facilitator and has facilitated over 100 planning sessions.
She has served as Chair of NAR’s Cultural Diversity Committee and has trained hundreds in the At Home with Diversity courses along with training dozens of those instructors. She has been a strong advocate for affordable housing concerns in both Arizona and nationwide.
Alice has coordinated and spoken at dozens of programs, including those addressing leadership, professional standards and ethics, housing needs, and diversity, and more.
Alice not only understands the needs and pressures volunteer leaders and professional staff, but of the real estate community and the public it serves. She lives in downtown Chicago with her husband Don, a REALTOR® and trainer, and her partner in Martin Consulting Solutions.
